Oil on canvas
Regina G. Santaella
Plastic artist and photographer
Cancun, Mexico, 1993
Regina’s need to express herself through art arises from a neurological phenomenon that experiences so-called synesthesia, through which her senses merge with each other to see sounds, smell colors or try textures, for example.
Likewise, it shows great curiosity for the processes of the unconscious and for questioning the notion of “reality”. His favorite formal means are painting (especially action painting), photography and installation.
