Jean-Jacques is a Mediterranean man born in Algeria. Italian father and Maltese mother. On the father’s side he comes from a family of musicians and the mother of lovers and students of music.

Artist statement

Jean-Jacques is a Mediterranean man born in Algeria. Italian father and Maltese mother. On the father’s side he comes from a family of musicians and the mother of lovers and students of music. Jean, led a gospel choir for 6 years and a coffee-theater company for 5 years. Its objective, was, to create shows with humanitarian aims. From a very young age he devoted himself to drawing, dry pastels and acrylic painting, he is a Marketing and Advertising professor, and his passion is the graphic arts. The airbrush becomes his passion after knowing the Master, Christopher Durand and his technique of photorealism what he likes to do. He is a person given to others and very receptive. He deeply loves people, animals, life in general. He is very sensitive to the surface, emotional but discreet.

J.J. he has accumulated ample academic and professional experience, demonstrable in his long career as a teacher and exhibitor in several countries, enjoying the recognition of many high-level artists and galleries.
